Panoramio photos in Google Maps API

October 6th, 2008 by Eduardo Manchón

If you use Google Maps API in your website, you can easily add Panoramio photos with only 2 lines of code.

So far, the first project that has added Panoramio photos using Google Maps API is the trail-sharing website Wikiloc.

    Hello,

Concerning Panoramio’s API, do you plan to implement a search by Creative Commons licenses in the future (a little like in Flickr’s API )? I’m tinkering a search mashup of CC geolocalized pictures and I’d like to include also CC pictures from Panoramio.

    Thanks

Great entry, it is posible to add only panoramio photos? and not the wiki?

    And only certain user photos?

    thx.

The german page http://www.earth-dots.de/ has the new API also integrated now - pretty cool feature to have all those fantastic pictures in a beautiful way on the map! Great Work!

yes, it is possible to add only panoramio photos, but for only the photos from a certain user you have to use our panoramio API

off topic, I know, but any plans for an ‘app’ for the iPhone 3g? It would be great to access these great photos and features from my iPhone.
