Rules
- To participate simply use the link "Submit to the contest" located under the photo and choose one category.
- You can only submit photos uploaded in the previous month. For example, photos uploaded in March are being voted in April. Photos uploaded in April can be submitted in April and get voted in May.
- Participants can inscribe as many photos as they want, but there is only one prize per person.
- One photo can participate in only one category and get only one prize.
- Only geolocated photos in Panoramio will be included
- Every month a new contest will start with 28 new winners.
Categories
Category 1: Scenery - Gallery of participants
Photos that represent the beauty of your hometown/motherland or the area you are familiar with after living there for a while.
Category 2: Heritage - Gallery of participants
Photos that evoke emotions or memories of the past, especially your hometown/motherland. Culturally-revealing & inspiring, or just plain striking. Broadly speaking, it can be an events, locales or activities connecting to their history or their cultural heritage.
Category 3: Travel - Gallery of participants
Photos that represent the essence of the area (landscape, cityscape, architecture or landmark.) Photos can be spectacular scenes encountered during holiday/tours.
Category 4: Unusual Location - Gallery of participants
Locations that are unusual and unique, places on Earth that is intriguing and fascinating. e.g. Antarctica.

Voting for photos
- Registered users from Panoramio can vote for a photo using the "vote" button located in the photo-page
- Only can vote the users registered at least one month, the others will not get the "vote" button.
- An user can vote for an unlimited number of photos
- An user can vote only once for the same photo.
- The photos with the highest number of votes will get the prizes
- Abuse or registering multiple users to vote will lead to deletion
