Great shot Matteo, wonderful colours and green landscape! Swamps are not preserved well in Europe, it's very hard to see pictures of them today.

Spring is really the best time to visit them also because they are not full of boring mosquitos as in summer.

marcel, i don't know in hrvatska, but in italia there mosquitos also on summer!
rosa, non sono un amante della botanica, perciò il termine canne mi convince assai; lungo il fiume marecchia ci sono sia stagni come quelli da me inquadrati, sia laghetti di cava.

In Croatia we have a lot of problems with mosquitos, especially in Slavonija (continental Cro.). There is very big area of swaps which are good preserved. I was never there but I saw some pictures and films on tv, and it looks great.
i also love swamps: they are one of my favourite environment.
I go sometimes fishing with my friend to rests of river, smth. simmilar to swaps. I have one photo of it.

I already gave you link (word "it"), colours on that picture are not very nice because I took this photo during winter. I went fishing with my friends but we didn't catch anything because the surface was frozen.
i've forgotten about that pic...
It looked very strange to me when I saw frozen surface at noon.
not the best condition for fishing!
