Zarouchla is a mountainous village, built at an altitude of 1,020 meters on the southeastern slopes of Aroania, close to the borders with the prefecture of Corinth and is one of the most mountainous villages of Achaia. Very close to the village is Lake Tsivlou. Zarouchla is a mountain resort and has several guest houses and taverns. It is situated 35 km from Akratas and 110 km south-east from Patras.
