Exhilarating reindeer sleigh ride! These animals are competitive and although my daughter's sleigh had a 100 yard start on us our reindeer went like a bat out of hell to try and catch it throwing a ton of snow and ice in our faces. When we caught up he tried to do an overtake but Becky's reindeer wasn't having any of it and closed the door Jensen Button-like!!! Bloody funny. Afterwards we found out that my other daughter Jenni's reindeer had rocketed past Becky's sleigh so clearly her reindeer was doubly determined to keep us behind! Memorable!

And one other thing unlike the Husky ride where we had a "musher" or handler aboard, the reindeer "do their own thing" and just take off. And I've only just noticed in my photo that in the distance you can see the big overtaking manoeuvre taking place!!!

Interesting write up....Geoff...../..So'.....you don't have a 'driver' ?? and the reindeer simply pulls you along...as he sees fit ?.....

No driver, Dave, they just follow the "beaten track" round in a big circle chasing each other and overtaking if they can! Loved it! GL.
