Mon cher Bernard, il est l'anneau de raccord entre l'architecture romaine et byzantine. L'église souterraine, découverte dans le 1861, a été bâti peu de temps après les persecutions de Diocletian. Elle fut dévastée par les Normands. Ensuite (XIeme siècle) elle fut enterrée et avec ses matériaux fut bâti l'église que vous voyez. Vous verrez la première église aussi. Bien amicalement. Antonio
