Placing the marker correct was possible after Google update the images to highres. I hope that all other markers by other panoramio users will be changed soon.

That explains a lot ... I've encountered those low resolution images in Google Earth that makes it difficult to geotag images without cross-checking with topographic maps or using GPS coordinates. None-the-less, thanks for the crisp, clear image that helps one plan vacation trips to far-away places. Cheers!
