This shot is at the south/west edge of Luce Bay. Strangely the tide always runs in the same direction here. I've fished from my inflatable Hours Months Years here. At one minute calm. In the next ten minutes a raging current and even standing waves! Due to the large number of tides that "meet" at The Mull of Galloway.

I have fished here often myself , awhile ago there was the ( Mull of Galloway Big Game Club ) that often fished from East Tarbet now a long time disbanded. , Tope ,Spurdog and Bull Huss were often caught , in the 1970s Dr Deitrich Burkle was the only one to catch a mako shark in the tide rip off the Lighthouse ! ! ! . Idont think another has ever been caught ....
