Hi Mary Alice, it is a ancient religion place, where the emperor sacrifice to the heaven for a good harvest year. It was a forbidden city, but now it is open, so I have a chance to shot it in the right place and right time:) So glad you meet you here, my princess.

My Modern knight, Robin:
I've been worried about you. Are you okay? I've been reading about the massive earthquake over there in China. They say it's the worst in decades. Beichuan county, Chongqing, Sichuan Province, and Shifang City. These were all the names that I could remember, but are you near any of this? Are you okay? I sure hope so.
When you have time, send me a little message just to let me know that you're alright.
A little worried over in Georgia,
Mary Alice

Mary Alice, I am OK, please don't worry me. And thanks for your concern for our miserable people and country. Last afternoon, I can even feel the earthquake in Shanghai, but it is a disaster in southwest china. About 90 thousands people has died. But our people is busy for rescuring. I am planning for donation and a volunteer now. So I will be busy for days.

Hello Robin, wonderful photo with all the lines converging on a point what gives an air of mystery. I see that you are Chinese and that you have not suffered with the earthquake, in spite of the enormous number of dead men, here the news gives a number sensitively more down. Why always does one lie in the misfortunes?
Regards for you and your people, Arturo.

Hi Arturo, thanks your regards and the truth will comes out finally. I am just back from days night shift and donation and a volunteer is ongoing, that it is a great trend all over my country though most of them are not suffered. I believe we could pass the hard time.
On the other hand, I don't want to be a wishes beggar and broadcast the sadness everywhere. I want to return the wishes and kindness with pictures. They honor it.

O, actually, it is just 100 or 200 metres long but seems fairly endless, ehh? Why not show us yours in Spain? Look forward on it.

Hello Robin and warm wishes to you.
The image is visually stimulating as my eyes are drawn to the far distance through the converging symmetry of the walls. The clever use of shadow splits the image equally.
Technically and aesthetically superb Robin. Nice job.
Cheers.

Hi Superb Jim, glad you back again. I thought you were still in fishing now. Yepp, symmetry is wonderful in architectonic design for ancient china. And the red color is mostly used in royalty.
Wishes a happy day, ^Robin^

A photo with great optical pull-power and a lesson in central perspective. Good job.

Well then, with. This path is really narrow. It takes me a long time to walk along. Thanks for your compliment.
