After the monks walk barefoot across the hot coals, the crowd is invited to follow suit on the not-so-hot embers.

This was taken by my wife. That is me on the left in the red shirt and my son is the little guy in the middle of the picture.

Greetings Leo, I smiled at your leap of faith just here ;>))

Then I smiled a lot more when I thought about you walking on water just after this shot was taken ;>))

Meryl thought it was more a moment of madness than a leap of faith. Note that we did not ask a friend to take a photo of the three of us!

Actually, you walk on salt before the hot coals, but the only thing I could find for comfort afterward was cool grass - lots and lots of cool grass.

Cheers, Leo

Greetings Leo, Thanks for the return greeting. I hope things are going well for you. I find the cure for hot feet is a cool stream by the car and an ice cold beer. Cheers, Rich

A cool stream would have been welcome by the end of this walk, Rich.

cheers, Leo
