Main Street - small town New Zealasnd. Plimmer Terrace is the commercial center of the township of Shannon. It is also part of SH57 passing through the town. The left side of the road in the photo is garden reserve fronting the railway tracks. The Mangahao Hydro power house is nearby and the New Zealand National White Water Canoeing center at Mangaore is also close by.
