I've lived in this area since 1970,,and I worked all of west Bexar County with telco company for 30 years,,I think a family by the name Of Galm lived in this area and owned a lot of land,,also Roberts, Nichols, Pietra, Richarsons and other familes I knew but forgot their names..I installed and repaired telephones for them...not sure if W. Macilster (Senior) owned some of this property too,,but he also had some out in this area on Potranco..from Hwy 90 to Bandera road out to Rio Medina was just awesome country living.. ..some of these folks I knew purchased their land in the 1920's for a few dollars an acre..some were family owned for generations.
