This is a view of Phoenix, Arizona, looking northeast from atop a tall building at Central and Osborne in downtown Phoenix. The sharp peak in the background is Squaw Peak (aka Piestewa peak), part of a range of mountains and recreational areas that runs through the northern part of the city.
Thanks for commenting. Actually, it's not "aerial", just taken from one of the higher floors in the building across the street. Your historical comments concerning the "Decorative Light Pole" reminded me that I am meaning to take some pictures for Panoramio of the "new Central Avenue", with the new light rail lines and stations just up, before it gets busy with real trains.
