Ah, Morris the miner. A truly amazing sculpture, if not totally accurate (would be be wearing a hard hat at the time of picks and davy lamps?). He's genuinely loved by the town. Generously erected by Walsall council at a cost of 70,000 pounds, they sensibly played down their involvement until he became popular.
