Where the ground is warm from the thermal waters, the grass stays green even in the winter. The animals often stay in the area because it is warm. This was a very beautiful sunny day in Yellowstone. The warmest and nicest winter day I've ever had at Fountain Paint Pots. Usually it is very cold, windy and snowy!

Like an oasis.

Dear Eve:

Precious photo. You have managed to transmit sensations in this image, one feels the cold more in the blue of the sky that has a beautiful light, that in the fume that goes out of the soil or that in the snow of the trees.

Still you have not told me why they are called "angels of the rain" to these figures. But I do not forget them.

Greetings, Arturo.
