The old Bankside power station that provided electricity to the fast growing commercial needs of the City, is now the Tate Modern and boasts a splendid architectural achievement to such a transformation. Seen here the Norman Fosters millenium bridge that was first described as the wonky bridge due to its inherent sway. Engineers, Ove Arup had to come up with a solution rapidly to overcome this.
