I was stationed here in 1967/1968. I've talked to a few people who have visited it in the last ten years or so, and for a long time it seemed not to have changed very much at all. In a previous Google Map photo you could still see the outlines of the personnel hootches on the ground. I wonder what happened to the bar that was built along the beach in 1968. I couldn't find it in any of the Google Maps I looked at.
