Los tongkonan o casas Toraja tienen una elaboracion compleja y pueden llegar a un punto de sostificacion muy alto en cuanto adornos, pinturas, etc. Esta en la foto es bastante sencilla. Es curioso que los Toraja emplean este tipo de construccion que les recuerda a los botes que usaron para llegar por mar a Sulawesi y luego les sirvio de tejado en sus casas, tambien en los ataudes funerarios pero en formato mas pequeño. Los toraja construyen el mismo tipo de casas para sus vivos que para sus muertos. Saludos witxe :)
