Were you cycling alone through France, George? If you were you are wonderfully fit and by the time you made it to the Loire you would have needed something from the cellars. Have you tried the Tour de France?

Hi, Ian. No Tour de France for me! There were four of us...retired together and biked Quebec, Germany, Austria, Czech Rep and Netherlands over the last five or six years. We do about 40 to 60 km a day (from wine cellar to wine cellar in Burgundy and the Loire and from beer garden to beer garden in Germany et al)
