What makes the validity of your insist? Why can Dokdo be Japaness territory?

Dokdo is Korean territory.

Japan must return all the Korean territory with Treaty of Peace.

Some of Japaness urges that 'In Treaty of Peace Dokdo was omitted in the list of renowned territory'. It does not right. The treaty described the all the properties Korea had had must be returned. So Japan must return Dokdo.

Some of Japaness urges that Shinema had included Dokdo before the annexation. No, the inclusion was invalid. As everybody knows, They just announced the inclusion, without any pre-notice to owner. The inclusion was based on the wrong insist that Dokdo had naver been recognized and owned by any country. But there are so many evidence those described that Dokdo was Korean territory at the time of inclusion. Even Japaness government published the order of "Dokdo is Korean territory. No access is allowed", in 1877 officially.

Japan makes financial support to ICJ. Japan, and US which is most responsible in this dispute, the both are most powerful nations in the world, as you know.

We don't want to go ICJ where justice cannot be guarantted.

Hey frisk071, before insisting ICJ, pursuade me, pursuade Korean first with your own evidence. If you firmly believe that Dokdo is Japaness territory, please give me the reason, please let me know that "How could Dokdo be part of Shimane in 1905 with just announcement saying that 'there is no owner for the island', even Japaness Daijyokan published the order 1877".

Think logically with firm evidence.

In saying

Japan knew existence and a position of Takeshima (Matsushima) earlier from Korea and a Japanese went ashore and performed fishing.

Korea was not able to pinpoint even the position much less the landing of Takeshima until those days in 1905 when Japan incorporated a territory.

The Korean old record and map are over ambiguously and cannot become the objective evidence.

What do you want to tell me?

I guess you would say that "Korea had never occupied Dokdo till 1905". Is it wrong?

So I would say, "It is wrong for that Japaness government organization Daijyokan announced that 'Dokdo was land of Chosun' in 1877." We don't need to talk about so many documents in confusion, There is a firm evidence you Japaness have, you Japaness published.

( Even the documents Japaness show do not constitute the condition for "Dokdo was territory of Japan" even if we accept the insist of Japaness. It becomes just one of the materials which omitted Dokdo even if we accept Japaness insist. Even more that, we cannot aceept the insist. You must know that there is no Korean materials which describe Dokdo as territory of Japan, and there are so many Japaness materials which describe Dokdo as territory of Korea(Chosun) before 1905. )

The matter of 1877 does not have the certain evidence that excluded Takeshima (Matsushima) from Shimane.

Please give me the reasons for your opinion. Daijokan order is so important document. The validity of the document have great influence in this matter, because it deny the basis of Shinema inclusion in 1905.

I think I did not tell a lie in panoramio. I think that you tell a lie with so unconscience heart or brain which cannot work with logical process.

Thank you for wring in Korean. But I think you would be better to write in English to share your reply with all global members, and you have so experienced English skill. As you see, I am not so good in English, but I write in English with same hope.

And I would let you know that I am just an mechanical engineer. I wrote many comments in Panoramio, but I am not an specialized reseacher for Dokdo.

Anyway.

If anyone would insist something so strongly, he must have strong faith for the matter, I think. So I have demand you to give me the reasonable evidence for your insist.

Why should Dokdo be Korean territory?

1. With Treaty of Peace, Japane must return all the land Korea had at the time of annexation.

2. Dokdo was territory of Chosun at that time. 2.1. Japan insist that Shinema included Dokdo before annexation. 2.2. But the basis of inclusion was "Dokdo had never been owned by any country" 2.3. But As Daijokan order 1877 assigned, even Japaness apporoved the ownership of Korea before Annexation. 2.4. So Shinema inclusion was invalid announcement. 2.5. So that Dokdo was territory of Chosun at the time of Annexation.

3. So Dokdo must be returned to Korea after the War.

The map is attached map for the Daijokan order 1877 (You mentioned it as 「IsoTakeshima 약도」). Why did they include the map of Dokdo so definitely in the document? Who would regard the "another island(外一島)" of "Jukdo and another island(竹島外一島)" as Jukdo, instead of Dokdo after checking the map?

Even the map emphasize Ulleungdo(竹島) and Dokdo(外一島) to firmly specify the meaning.

Nobody will draw the map in that way, if he wants to specify Ulleungdo and Jukdo(small island very close to Ulleungdo). Will you?

You said Dokdo is too far to describe it as "another island". I cannot understand what you are sating. You say the "another island" can be Jukdo. No,... Jukdo is too close and small. An there is another small island of Gwanmundo near Ulleungdo and Jukdo. Jukdo is too small to be "another island" of 1877 document.

And there are so many Japaness document which described Dokdo as territory of Korea(Chosun).

Even Japaness Navy include a picture of Dokdo at the map of Korean seaside.

Even 韓海通漁指針, 1903, 葛生修亮 published by right-winged Japaness described Dokdo at the chapter of Kangwondo, Korea.

Lots of Evidence, which was made in Japan. They described Dokdo as Korean territory.

I say that there is no Korean material which described Dokdo as Japaness territory.

What does it mean?

Dokdo was territory of Chosun before Shinema announcement.

So, Dokdo was territory of Chosun at the time of annexation.

So, Dokdo is territory of Korea now!

I don't care if you give reply or not. But if you continue to insist the wrong ownership without any reasonable evidence. I will ask you to give me the basis which can be acceptable with common sense.

If you don't have enough of knowledge for the matter, I think it would be better to come back after some more study.

There is attached document in 1877 document. It is one of the attached documents which explain the 1877 order in detail.

It wrote that :

Isonotakeshima (Ulleungdo) is also called Takeshima. It is 120 ri (222kms) northwest of Oki. The island is about 10 ri (40kms) around....Next there is another island which is called Matsushima (Dokdo). The area of this island is approximately 30 chongbo (73 acres) and is on the same straight latitude as Ulleungdo. It is 80 ri (148kms) from Oki. Trees and bamboo are scarce, sea lions live there. It definitely described the location of Dokdo and designated Dokdo in name(松島). The same name Matshushima is also written over Dokdo in 磯竹島略圖, theb attached map in 1877 document.

The phrases explain about the expression of "竹島外一島", separately 竹島(Jukdo=Ulleungdo), and 外一島(Another island=Dokdo).
