Greti & Billy,

Thank you for the compliments. You both have been an inspiration to me with your amazing "drops" photos. I will keep trying and someday may approach the quality of your shots.

Have a great weekend, Leo

I really like hello ... hello LAura r

Thank you, Laura.

Of course, I was inspired by Greti, Billy and Luud, but will never be in the same class as them. But it is fun (and messy), so I will keep trying.

Ciao...ciao, Leo

You are very good, but how have you done? ... .. Hello hello LAura r

Leo Roundtree, on June 16, said:

Laura,

I would like to have a sophisticated system to drop the water and a timer to take the shot, but the truth is I put the camera on a tripod, drop the water with my right hand and release the shutter with my left hand. Sometimes I get fancy and use the camera's self timer.

Ciao, Leo

Greetings Leo. I like the results of your experiment. You have given me something to think about for those cold winter evenings. The amount of fun to be had in this direction could be endless.

Cheers Pal.

Thank you, Jim.

It is good to hear from you again.

These experiments are fun, but can get a bit messy. It's not too bad when you use water as your base, but if you get adventurous and try coffee, orange juice or milk as I have, you had better do it while your wife is at work or out visiting. The cleanup can take quite a long time.

I can't wait to see your efforts this winter. Hope you have fun!

Cheers, Leo

A stunning photo Leo, a really good shot would be a photo of your wife's face when she sees the mess before you clean up:) Greetings, Anita

Living as a batchelor Leo, I get to make lots of mess without paying the penalty.

Cheers.

Anita - if I've learned one thing in 38 years of marriage, it's to not take a picture of my lovely wife when she has that look on her face.

Jim - shoot away and share the results!
