An intermittent, 190+ foot Sangbay Falls can be on its full grandeur during the wet season.

This natural crystal clear breath-taking waterfall is awesome! Been there last Feb. 2011 and the awfully big boulders at the bottom of the falls, part of the rock that fell a million years ago when it cracked open after a tumultous earthquake, rolled on the pathway to the falls. Strong legs with good working heart and lungs are required to reach the falls area, coming down a winding hand-carved slippery stone steps 500 ft. plus below ground level, fall is located 3 miles northwest of the progressive town of Burgos, Pangasinan. Hikers needs a camera to capture the immense beauty of the falls during later part of rainy season. Water temp. is 65-70 degrees during summer! No restrictions for bathers as long as you know how to swim! No life-guards to depend on except your buddies. Must bring your own canteen with goodies, no amenities on sight - total "amazon experience"! If you're a 'thrill-seeker' this place is for you to test your prowess! Good luck! Josephine - a great grandmother from Philly.
