In 1960 I met my wife to be in the Cavandish, also use to stand the Bolsover Market held on a Friday on the right side of the Cavandish..My wife Grace comes from Carr Vale we have been married now for 46 years.
This is quite an old photo. The front of the pub is now covered in scaffolding and it's been closed for some months now. I have a more up to date picture if required.
