Dear Antonietta and Martin,

It really did appeal to me too, as I was just quietly enjoying an evening in a creative environment with a band playing, and people unwinding.

The barman saw me with the camera and has requested a copy of this image, so I hope I can find the coaster he jotted his email address on so I can forward it to him.

One day, maybe you can share such an evening with me, if you make the pilgrimage 'down South'.

Regards,

Ian

Very beautiful experiment Ian, I'm shure y'll make the barman very happy with it.

The Riphagen you found must be family , because theire roots were from Oene in Holland. But the family I meaned is from my mothers side, the Martens family. Greetings Luud

Thank you again for your affirming comment, Luud. And may I ask just where your Martens relatives live? From what you have indicated, I understand that they may be in the Sydney area. It is great that you have some direct links to us.

Kind regards,

Ian

Hi Ian , My Oncle (83) and Aunt have lived a big part of theire life in Soldiers Point and the last three years the're living in Shoalhaven Heads. It is a pity that they don't have a computer so we can have a better contact. The contact I had with my only cousin is lost because changing E-mail adresses and computerfaillures. I think his at this moment his job is more important. He is working as a consultant/engineer constuction manager all over the country . I hope times will changed. Greetings Luud

Dear Luud,

Your uncle is listed in the telephone directory so it would be easy to make the reconnection with your cousin, if that is what you desired. I don't have any photos of Shoalhaven Heads to upload, but I'd presume there would be some on GE. I'll have to check though.

Anyway, kind regards,

Ian
