Hi, Guy. Actually it was only a mile or so from my house. It had a nest so it would stay close for quite while I watched the chicks. If I stayed too long or got too close it would dive-bomb me but other than that both parents (I have no idea which was which- both the same size and coloration)were pretty tolerant of me. Beth
