What a beautiful place. Very nicely captured Ian. This is the next place, on this continent, that I would like to see.

Best regards, Tom

I can't believe that you are in Yosemite Park right now? Well, you're a real traveler, so, I won't doubt of that. But the thing is that yesterday I discovered that a girl who went to the university with me is actually working in this park. Her name is Debora Sanchez. Don't say that you have met her! Would be a prove of how small this beautiful country is...

Dear Tom,

I am surprised and delighted to be showing parts of your continent to you that you haven't yet seen. I loved every moment of my US visits. And do go to Yosemite, it really is an awesome place.

Hi again Rafal,

So true. This is quite an incredible valley into which some spectacular falls of water plummet. There is quite a large catchment up on the plateau above this waterfall. Thanks for your comment.

And my dear friend, JJ,

It is so large a fall that from the distance that I took this photo one cannot hear the falls at all. But certainly as you approach the scale as well as the sound overwhelms! I am pleased you appreciate this place. And I am quite in amazed at the extent of horticulture under plastic that you have introduced us to in South Spain - but more of that later. And thanks for your ongoing sharing.

Sincerely and appreciatively,

Traveling such long distances is worth it for getting beautiful views like this one here. You are very fortunate to have such an opportunity of seeing so many wonderful places. I've been to the US once and, just like you, I loved it. Greetings, Liviu

I can feel the power of the water and the nature into your picture Ian, bravo!!

Hi Leo,

I can't believe I am in Yosemite right now either, for I am physically in Sydney at my desk. But when I look at this on the big screen, I feel that I am transported right back into Yosemite again. This photo was taken in June 2005, and it was a perfect time to be in a perfect place for the spring thaw had the Merced River running strongly and all the falls were awesome.

Kind regards to you and Carolina.

Dear Liviu,

While I had been to the United States a couple of times previously this occasion was only a brief visit of just over a week. My wife and I were returning from Europe and she had a conference in Denver she wished to attend, so we had one day in Yosemite and I had three days on my own exploring the Rockies in Colorado. And what sheer joy both explores were!!

It is true that I am very very grateful for the privileges I have had to travel. And my dream is to do some more yet.

Warm Greetings,

Greetings Ntinos,

Beautiful picture and natur . Greetings from Austria. Marita

Ian Stehbens on May 23, 2008

Dear Marita,

Thank you for your comment. I think there must be scenes like this in many valleys in Australia, but I will admit that this spill over the glacial walls at Yosemite is very special..

Thanks for your visit.

Dear Daniel,

How am I? I am tired, busy, fulfilled and enjoying my ministry. I caught up with "Mary" the other day for she is studying in Sydney. I heard her sing once again. She is now using the English name, "Naomi".

I believe you are coming to Sydney soon. Is that right?

Have you seen Sunny's wedding photos?

Thankyou for showing me your album. Do you remember sending me a photo of a root stump in a lake surrounded by autumn leaves. I treasure that photo, printed it, wrote poetry for my new grandson and gave him a print of the photo with the poem on it. It hangs in his bedroom.

I look forward to hearing of your coming to Sydney.

Dear Gerry,

It is great to receive a message from you. I feel a bond with every thing Irish, and some of your images are indelible in my mind. Glad you appreciated this stunning location in California.

Ian Stehbens on May 27, 2008

Thanks Daniel, but when are you coming? See you soon.
