Sheep, Sainsbury’s, Calne (south-south-east, 157.5°)

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The sculpture came about from a joint venture between Sainsbury’s supermarkets and Calne Artists’ Group. The sheep, which are bronzes, were made by Richard Cowdy to draw attention to Calne’s heritage as a centre for the wool trade.

Thank you Eva. Calne is just a small town but with a lot of street art. I'm glad you enjoyed the visit. Best wishes as ever, purdey
