It is great when compentent photographers get to wander the world. The world becomes so intimate and so special.
Thanks Marilyn for sensitivly recording this beautifully maintained complex of architecture that expresses a corporate faith and an ongoing commitment to hope.
So reminiscent of yet so different from bell towers in Greece and Spanish missions. Beautiful lighting that you have caught, Marilyn, and wonderfully composed. I am delighted to see your treasures trickling in. Best, alicia
Thank you, Ian and Alicia. I took a number of photos of this church because I was intrigued by the glowing light--perhaps the light of hope? I could hardly decide which one to post. Hugh suggested that we come here by taxi when I was feeling well enough to leave the hotel, and I am so glad we did!
!preciosa Foto! Ana.
Thank you, Ana. Greetings from Canada. Marilyn
You have a mistake, it is not Guadalupe, but GUAPULO. Thanks
Beautiful photo of a Quito landmark. I was married in this church in the 1980s, the interior is equally magnificent with gold leaf altar, sculptures and paintings.
I'm glad you found this photo, Don. Thanks for sharing your connection. What a lovely setting for a wedding!
Greetings from Canada, Marilyn
