This is a cool shot Dianne, and good you commented on it, reminds people that beaches are ever-changing entities.
Brutus was wondering if you have a shot of Casey.

Interesting to at long last get a comment on this photo, it has been there since May. I have some photos taken this year, will try and find one and post it for a few days. Dont laugh, but my dogs name isnt Casey, it is Buffy (even worse) Brutus wouldnt think he was a dog. I will find a photo of my Buffy, I used to have a Rambo also, that was funnier than Buffy.....Dianne

Well your King Charles was gonna chase the cat around the yard. I assumed he was a dog so I went from King Charles to K.C. which sounded out as Casey. We'll check out Buffy. Guy.

Nice picture, Dianne. I grew up by the sea, I still love to go there. Watching the sea is never boring. I could smell the sea by just watching this picture.
Cheers, Norrel

Thanks Norrel this is my favourite place on this earth. Growing up we had a holiday shack there, no made roads, no telephone or electricity, to have a bath you had to boil the kettle, there was only 12 houses there and very few day visitors, the fishing was wonderful, they used to get lobster in pots (legal back then) and there would be so many of them people would just give them away, and other fish was just aplenty. An amazing place, never many people on the beach, we had it to ourselves. No shops, just a bar where my parents went each night for a beer. Wonderful memories, thank you for looking at the picture and giving me the opportunity to go down memory lane. Dianne

I have come to this photo to see the rock Dianne, and sure enough it's so different, but then why am I surprised? I love the sea and all its moods, simply because of the changes. It is never boring. And why bath using kettles of boiling water when you have all the glorious sea?
Now the idea of a deserted beach, with no shops but a bar is pure heaven on earth :)) Greetings, Amelia

Hi again Amelia this is my favourite spot on this earth, I spent a lot of time there as a child, no shops, nothing, just an enormous beach - it is getting close to the end of the 90 mile beach, and if you went here in the summer holidays (no accomodation there) maybe there would be 100 people max. in a space of about 3 miles. Just the best. Dianne

My mind just cannot comprehend 90 miles of beach Dianne, I was brought up in a small town in Scotland, by the sea. Nothing is 90 miles long along the coast there :)
