Okay - you've done it now, Mary Alice. This just takes the cake. Great Pyrenees are one of my favorite dogs - is Bones yours? I won't ask how you managed to capture this because I think you would just say you were out walking Bones with your camera and you got ahead of him, turned around, and voila, look what followed him home... A WONDERFUL photo, Mary Alice! Warm greetings to you, -alicia

Alicia, Good morning, my dear friend! I'm so happy that you found my new pictures! I was so proud of this one. Bones is not my dog, however, he belongs to a very good friend of mine who let me come out and get some shots this week. Isn't he magnificent? He was raised with those goats from just a tiny puppy. He believes that he is a goat. He's not even used to being pet or being treated as a dog. He is just so wonderful to watch with these goats. I wish you could see him in person. I stayed and sat with them for almost three hours this day. It took quite a while for him to even let me get close. He is so protective, yet his kind and gentle nature still shines through in even his expression alone. It was a wonderful afternoon. Thank you so much for stopping by this morning, and I'm so happy that you enjoyed the shot. Have a wonderful day, sweet Alicia! :)

Eva, Thank you so kindly for your praise! I think he is beautiful as well. He is a true working dog in every sense on the word! Thank you for your visit and enjoy your day! :)

Jacques, Good morning, and how are you? I'm so happy to see you over here with the goats this morning. He was looking quite proud, wasn't he? He's a truly wonderful dog living his life to the fullest. I'm so happy that you liked the shot. Thank you for your praise, and I hope you enjoy this long Memorial day weekend. :)

Thank you all so much for stopping by.

Greetings,

Mary Alice

A great shot!My thought jump to the last scene of movie "Schindler's List" immediately. The same B&W style, the surviving people moving slowly in line in the backlight of dawn, murmur one song at the same time. It is shocking!

Seems that the doggy doing the same. MERCY!

Wishes a good day, ^Robin^

Dear Sean,

Thank you so much for stopping by. It's wonderful to see you! :)

I'm so happy that you like the little goats & dog! They were such an adorable group I thought. This was my first time being around a great Pyrenees, and now I think I want one for my next dog! What a wonderful breed they are. They guy that owns this one also has two more, one to guard his house, and one to guard his shop. They are both as beautiful as the one you see here in the photograph! :)

Anyway, happy Sunday to you, and I hope you have a wonderful Memorial day tomorrow.

Warm regards,

Mary Alice

My Dearest Joshua,

Where have you been, quiet boy? I haven't heard a peep out of you in days. I was getting ready to come looking for you in those vast hills of green! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm delighted that you enjoyed the shot! It took a while to get everyone's attention, but I finally made it happen. Believe me, it wasn't simple! I sweated just about all my fluids out during the process. It was about ninety degrees that day. It's gotten WAY too hot down here. Today was 96. :0 I need to move north, and quickly!

Thanks again for your wonderful visit! I hope you know that you're always welcome here!

Best regards to you this Wednesday,

Mary Alice
