Also I am giving these in french. -Il y a 7000 ans, il y avait un campement d'hommes du mésolithique qui ont laissé les restes d'un atelier de silex éclatés. -Des tombes, dites à coffre, de l'âge du bronze moyen, datant de 3500 ans ont été découvertes en 1962. -La découverte récente de nombreux débris de tuiles et de quelques tessons de céramique indiquent la présence d'un établissement gallo-romain du IIé-IIIé siècle. -Vers le VIème siècle, au temps de la Bretagne des saints, à en croire la légende Saint-Sané débarque sur cette grève avec ses compagnons. -Vauban décide en 1694 d'établir sur l'ilôt des parapets maçonnés et d'y mettre de l'artillerie.
