Yes, Keith, we parked up in the car-park to the west, and managed to walk about a third of the way over, partly on the Pilgrims Way. We could have done all of it, but then we'd have been trapped on the island. Also I wanted to see Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh on the same day. You get a great view from up here, but if one was waiting for the tide to go down, it could get monotonous. ;-)
