I suppose it's a chimney of an old log cabin, was the only thing that was built in stone or brick.
Actually it's what's left of a barbecue pit from along time ago. People on picnics would go the the county parks and prepare their meals on here. Fell out of fashion I guess.
Glucs, I think that I have tried to be too smart, hahaha. Here took place a forest fire that killed eleven people, all of them were firefighters, the fire caused it a bad off barbecue, since then is forbidden to use barbecues during the summer. I have never lit a fire on the mountain, always carry sandwiches and batteries for night light, even took over my Zippo, I do not keep anything that produces fire.
So that's what happened!
I remember visiting the area days after the tragedy and not to suppress tears of emotion so intense that I had in this place, we were several people there in silence watching everything calcined and remembering those brave that they gave their lives to protect the natural environment and it was really sad.
