I worked at this ranch in the early 70"s. It was owned by Dan Morehead. His Mom, wife(forgot her name) and son Rusty lived here. Dan's mom ended up living at the store at Macalister by the highway. The ranch was in financial trouble back then so I think that they probably lost it to the bank. I can remember bringing up hay from the field at the river (Macalister) on the diamond t truck to put in the barn. I have alot of great memories of sitting in the kitchen of that house. I lived in the bukhouse which was next to the barn. I tried to visit the place 2 years ago but there was a locked gate to the property. I would luv to go back again someday.

We rode in the back way on Quads.I don't know who owns it now but we went back in in the fall during hunting season and they still pasture cows there. It was very picturesque.
