This is the largest natural bridge in Europe. Compare it with my other photograph of the natural bridge in Virginia, USA, to see the size difference.

My VW bus threw a rod near Vallon-Pont-d'Arc in 1972...waited a week for repairs and then set off towards Biarritz to surf. Traveling down D290, you make a turn and there is the site you see above. Most impressive!
