Hi Steve, oh yes, I so hope he stays around, he and his partner and occupy the house for their little nest for baby blue bird!! we can only hope they will remain this time. They will disappear for a day or two but will return, not sure why that is the habit, we wonder even, if the female IS DOWN IN THE NEST and he flies in to check on her?? But we certainly won't bother the nest to find out!! OH the YSL is appreciated very much Steve. Thank you!

We had a Bluebird pair build a nest and lay eggs in our box this year, but for some reason they abandoned it. Maybe because of the cat that sticks around the area. I'm finding a new home for her as soon as I can.

Hope you are well, Sarah!

Hello Liam YES that is exactly what happened here Liam, we had a pair sooo interested in our bird house here, they flew in, occupied the house, stayed around mostly every day, and then suddenly GONE! but here , at that time earlier this spring, we had squirrels all over the place, and NOW if they had stayed, we now have your problem, some stray cats all coming through our yard...SO they left this time because of the squirrels. my husband shot several squirrels, but as you know, they are EVERYWHERE!! Its great to hear from you , happy you stopped by. Hope things are well in Hephzibah!! ~~Sarah~~
