**..Sheffield city centre...... 'Panorama sweep from Lumix TZ-60..**

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The once great steel producing city of... 'Sheffield'......(it's still great ! - but just not producing so much steel ! )....... is located within the valleys of the River Don and its four tributaries.... the Loxley..... the Porter Brook.... the Rivelin, and the Sheaf....... 61% of Sheffield's entire area is green space...... and a third of the city lies within the... 'Peak District'.. national park............ There are more than 250 parks, woodlands and gardens in the city...... and an estimated 2 million trees...... giving Sheffield the highest ratio of trees to people of any city in Europe.....[Wikipedia].

That's a great panorama of Sheffield, David. My only visits there were to watch football matches. That was a long time ago but I do have a recollection of very pleasant green hills surrounding the city.
My regards.
