This picture shows the old BP club and the beach. The beach was surrounded by two bunds . The bunds still remain but the shark nets have gone.

roffensian on June 9, 2010

I lived in Aden from 1961 until 1971. The family name was Wilkins. My father worked at the refinery. I was at Kings until 1971. What is your wifes name. Regards

Hi Jonathan my name is Tim Loker my wife was Linda Wilmshurst then, her father and mother were Peter and Margaret. They left in 65 I think. Peter was somthing to do with bunkering the ships.

From about 61 they lived at Steamer point opposit the Rock hotel. I am going to try to upload her photos to the Facebook "bpadenkids" site as soon as I can

I have been in contact with peter mackley recently who pointed ms at the site.

I was at King's from 1957 till 1965 and I left after 1st year 6th for an industrial career, when were you there?

Best regards and sorry for the delay in replying Tim & Linda Loker

Hi Tim, Thanks for the comments. I have also replied to you my N606jp account. I attended Kings, hence the Roffensian handle. I was there from 1966 until 1971. I met Peter at the reunion last year. Glad you found the pictures. Regards
