While I was attending the reunion of Oberlin College's Class of 1958, I checked Panoramio and discovered that it included only a handful of photos of Oberlin. The reunion kept me quite busy, but I was able to take a few pictures to start filling that gap.
Very nice place. I bet you have lots of memories from there. Greetings, Liviu
And this is the best and grandest of the Oberlin photos, in my opinion, Marilyn. Again another example of your excellent composition and use of light. I am not sure whether this is your historian voice or your nostalgic voice.
Thank you, Liviu and Ian. Indeed I have memories, so the nostalgic voice is very strong. ... A European history course taught by a highly opinionated professor; I decided that it was better (safer) to listen to someone whose prejudices were obvious rather than hidden. An introductory psychology course taught by a very non-charismatic professor; in the years since then, I have been more aware of what I learned from it than I have from any other course. And an introductory philosophy course that stretched my mind.
