In the top left hand corner can be seen the Jaguar/Land Rover factory at Halewood with its famous water tower.

Center right is Hale Point Lighthouse - disused and now a private residence.

Lucabellincioni, thanks for your visit and comment!

TWastro, thanks a lot for your comments and explications. I often passed the Jaguar/Land Rover factory, but I couldn't have spotted it in the photo without your help. Before this flight back to Basle Switzerland I stayed overnight in Hale. A nice coincidence that I got the lighthouse on the picture. :)
Best regards, May

I was amused today May by this incident at Liverpool airport. The media are convinced that the relatives knew the man was dead, but the more you think about it the more bizarre it becomes.

I haven't been to Hale Lighthouse for years but the fields there were always filled with Daffodils. Perhaps another visit is due :-))

Kindest regards, Lesley

Dear Lesley, thank you for visiting "your fields" on my photo and for the link! I can't believe it, that someone would try anything like that, it's just crazy. ;)) It reminds me of a movie with Sophia Loren and Sean Connery...

Best regards, May

Dear May, I have laughed so much over this. I see it from so many angles, and the latest is the reaction there might have been on the aeroplane if he had been discovered at 30,000 feet, when the airconditioning was circulating the smell of death :-/// The poor man, I'm sure, didn't deserve the laughter his death has caused. At least he gained worldwide fame :-))) Experts are now saying he had been dead for 5 days!

Warm wishes, Lesley

Crazy - what some persons are thinking out! - I hope he will find peace now.

Best wishes, May
