I have to smile. I stood at this rock over a decade ago on my one drive through England/Scotland. I made it as far north as Inverness.

Hank, Ryan and Skida, thank you very much for looking by in my many photos! I am so sorry to have put all these photos without answering. I am going to North England next week for a few days and then up to Scotland again, so I wanted to put the photos from my first trip in 2004 and I will do the same for 2005, in order to see if they are all correctly put and for my friends here. I want them to imagine, what it looks like. I hope nobody minds, for putting so many all at once, I'll try to answer, what I can. There are even more on my other pages, because I was hesitant to put them all here.
I'll think of you all, when I am there again. :)
Skida, the weather was bad most of the time, when I was there in 2004, it was mostly nice in 2005, I do hope to get some good views for the coming trip.
My best greetings, May

Hi May
I just saw your note that you had been to Dumfries this past summer. I didn't see a tag for Dumfries...will Panoramio allow you to tag them?
Pam (Sorry I'm so late replying ... my mother passed away a couple of weeks ago).

My dear Pam, I feel so sorry about your loss! It's always sad to know, that one can't get into contact with a beloved person anymore. I think, your family will help you to get over it and maybe Panoramio will help a little as well.
As for Dumfries, up to now I have only the ones from Gretna Green on Panoramio. This Summer 2008 I have travelled all around Scotland, sleeping every day at a different place, so I crossed through Dumfries as well. I haven't uploaded the photos yet and hope I will do them in Winter.
My best wishes, May

Nicolas, sorry, I discovered just now, that I missed your comment, thanks a lot! I am far behind in uploading photos, but I hope to do the Scottish photos from 2008 as well as the ones from Ireland 2007 this coming Winter. I guess, that you would enjoy Scotland very much. There are many interesting ancient sites and historical places to be seen, apart from the mystic sceneries. Best greetings, May
