A fine series of images Roland! (I'm glad to see the view direction in the titles; this is very helpful). Best wishes from the UK, purdey.

Thanks, purdey! Once I had this idea while I was puzzleing about an other pic. By the way: The map at the right side of Google must a winter-one. The whole sandbank is overwhelmed with water... Cheers, Roland

Very simple, but I like it a lot. The German north coast is an area I have always wanted to visit.

Where the sea, where a land? All was mixed in this world.

Greetings from Russia, Elena

Hello Elena, here the ocean has ebb and flow. That's normal. The water is comming and going about 2 times a day. Synchron to the moon, only with double-speed. You will find it on all big oceans.
Due to the land (beach) is very flat here, you can walk some kilometers on this sea bottom. In case of this pic the water of course is away: The tide is out. But you have to be careful, you have to watch, when water is comming back. You must be back on land right in time. Otherwise and if you have luck you will find a life raft, but here you have to wait about 6 hours for next falling tide...

Greetings and cheers, Roland
