Hello, Baycrest - thank you for your participation in the 2009 March NPC.

I really like your photo...the setting and subject are to my liking as a train lover.

Please note that the subject is not in strict accordance with the guidelines for acceptability. Technically, doors on subway train cars are discouraged.

Please read the following requirements from the first post of the contest thread:

1 – The door or doorway must be on a structure in which humans live, work, play or pray...Things like...doors on vehicles of any kind are not acceptable...

However, at this late time, you may keep this photo in the contest and we will allow the voters to decide the best scores.

In all other respects, this entry has all necessary attributes and is ready for the contest :-)

Hi Bruce da Moose, thanks for your response and nice to chat with you. Indeed I particularly took some time to read the rules before posting, otherwise I wouldn't include the entry number into the title. I understand doors on vehicles of any kind are not acceptable, as the requirements stated. Besides, the requirements state that:

3 - The presence of a door or doorway can share the photo with things like humans, human activity, animals, vehicles, the structure itself and / or the landscape in which it is located, but it must be a significant element of the photograph. &

The photo may show humans, animals and vehicles going about their business in or near the doorways.

As far as my understanding, doors on a structure must be the main subject and vehicles are allowable. This is why I believe platform screen doors with train stopping aside is acceptable in the game.

Anyway I'll be happy to withdraw my entry if moderators can reach a conclusion after discussing.
