mb - 22:25 Lodge on the Loch Linnhe

I was tired, having driven from the East Coast, way below Edinburgh, not using the fastest and shortest way, but many side roads. It was getting late and there were so many hotels in this region. I drove up to Fort William, looking for a room in one hotel after the other without any luck. It was full everywhere. I turned back, because I had booked a flight from Liverpool to Switzerland for three days later. Finally, when I tried in the Lodge on the Loch Hotel, without great hope, I got a beautiful luxury room (Monarch of the Glen) for a very good price (because I was late). I enjoyed it so much, a hot relaxing bath and the spacious bedroom with a bay window and a wonderful breakfast. The lighted room is the bathroom. A real highlight! :)

I passed again at the hotel this year, but unfortunately the owner has changed and the lovely atmosphere has gone.
