Good catch May! They sure are fast little things, aren't they? And well spotted among the rocks. Regards, Ryan

Thank you Ryan! They are so fast, I'll never even see them in liberty. I have to admit, I was in a zoo near Oban to at least see them there. They are so cute and vivid creatures. ;))

Eva, Theano, Peter, thank you all very much! I only saw them, because they were in a Sea Life Sanctuary in Oban. I very much like them! :)

Aah lovely photo ♫ Swissmay. Have you ever seen the film Tarka the Otter, or read the book by Henry Williamson. If you like Otters it's worth seeing.

Yes, Tone, as an otter friend, I have seen the Tarka film and read the book! It's beautiful and heartbreaking!
In Switzerland the otters and beavers were mostly extinct, luckily they start coming back again. I am happy to see that so many persons are friends of the otters.
Warm regards, May

Hello May. Good a wonderful but as you say heartbreaking story. The same here in England they have made a comeback. I am a friend of all animals with a few exceptions. Warm regards, Tone.

Yes, Tone, so am I. It's sad how animals are often treated. It's incredible that there are still people, who think, that animals have no feelings... May
