The Seven Fountains in Montmin, actually a single spring flowing through seven arches, is one of several sources of a stream that runs down the mountain to the town of Vesonne and on to Lake Annecy. The name Vesonne recalls the Celtic river goddess Vesuna, and thus points to a probable pre-Christian origin to this shrine. See Montmin website for additional information and pictures.
