We spent the night (impossible to sleep) on the beach and the birds never shut up! An amazing experience! My pic was at dawn, 4.30 a.m.???? Your photos take me right back. I live in NZ but guided for Spirit of the West Adventures for 3 seasons. Cheers River

Super shot; I was by there once many years ago, pre-digital but have not been back. Never saw a crowd like this one!

Seals are common around Mitlenatch pretty much year round, but we rarely see Sea Lions, especially in numbers like this. May long weekend.

Excellent shot!

Thanks Eleni! Actually I did not take this shot; it was taken by my friend as I was navigating the boat through the treacherous shoals. Okay, it wasn't that dramatic but I was at the helm.

Great job with the helm then, and bravo to your friend for his shot too! Greetings Eleni

Thanks Ippa - I hope to be back at Mitlenatch sometime in the next few days - so much marine & bird life to enjoy.
