This view is of La Seu d'Urgell, con el Cadí al fondo y tomada desde Castellciutat, Cataluna, Spain - 1978

This photo of the Serra del Cadi was taken near Seu d'Urgell in 1978. I believe the settlement pictured is Arfa, but as I am not a local, and this was taken 30 years ago, I welcome any correction and location.

It was an enthralling trip down the valley, a spectacular and different view at every turn, as we descended from Andorra to Lerida.

Great contrast between colours of the next photo of flower and this picture, Yan! Fantastic landscape!

Though it is so many years ago now, I still remember the joy of discovering this wonderful landscape for the first time. The colours, the spectacular folding, the turbulent river, the ordered fields and the interesting people that we met, all come flooding back as I sit here now enjoying these memories and sharing them with you..
