Splendid! What a view! :)
Greetings, Sean! I'm sorry that I have been away. I couldn't seem to find time to play on here much this weekend. The beautiful weather kept me outside for most of it.
This is a strikingly beautiful place! The colors are rich and magnificent! I'm so happy to see a little bit more of your beautiful country.
Best regards,
Mary Alice

I grew up very near here and this is where we spent our summers Mary Alice. When the tide was out we would catch flatfish in the pools and gather shellfish on the shore to feast on!! :-))
This area hasn't changed at all and I had a ball on Saturday wandering around here in beautiful sunshine enjoying the memories. Fab...
I am really glad you like this place.
Very best regards,
Séan.

What a heavenly place to grow up! Wow! You were quite a lucky child indeed. I'm sure you have the best memories ever. I can only imagine living a childhood in such a place. :)
I'm so glad that you were able to spend such a fun time back at this wonderful place Saturday, and especially that you got to share it with Me through this beautiful photograph!
Very best regards to you, Sean.

Mary Alice, I can't imagine you having anything other than an idyllic upbringing: your kindness and love of your mum, nature, your neighbourhood, your animals shines through in every conversation I have had the pleasure of seeing you engage in.
Warmest Regards,
Séan.

Sean,
What very kind words. Thank you so much!
I can assure you that my childhood indeed was the best that I could possibly imagine having. I had a wonderful sister and we have always been just like best friends. I wouldn't give anything for my Mother and Father. My Mom taught me to love animals, nature and everything beautiful, and my Father taught me the love of photography. I grew up with nothing but happy memories and wouldn't change a thing.
I sure do appreciate your thoughtful words, and thank you again.
Warmest regards,
Mary Alice

Hello again 8Marina*, thank you for you wonderfully kind words for my photos and country.
Our 'greens' come from the frequent rain I'm afraid :-) and not every day is like this one but we get by!
Have a great weekend,
Séan.

cheers Jim for that :-)
This little bay is where I learned to swim, sail and fish many years ago. It's tidal and at ebb, we used to wade the river pools for dab and flounders, brilliant fun and productive: you could keep the bigger ones and let the tiddlers go!
Memories eh!!
Best Regards,
Séan.

Aye Sean, Happy days indeed. Most of todays kids will never experiance the joy of those simple pleasures.
Nothing tastes better than a fresh Dab coated in flour and quickly fried. One of natures delights and free of charge.
Am I beginning to sound like a grumpy old man Sean ?
