Great shot, Matthew!!!... It's like being in that square! I only need to turn my head on the left and on the right, looking at those buildings! I can see all the people around me and... opps... Sorry, Madam!... I could say "Hello" to every one! Maybe they will reply me... :)

Cheers

Thanks Flavio! I quite enjoy putting these 360's together, so I'm glad you like it.

Beautifully done Matthew and thanks for sharing.

Is there anything you can tell me about method/equipment? Did you stitch from a series of shots using a fish eye lens, etc.?

I just signed up so I'm looking forward to seeing your other shots.

Thanks. I used a 24-120mm zoom, at 24mm. There were about 30 pictures to make up the panorama - you need to over-lap by about a third to get the stitching to work well. The actual stitching is done with PTGui.

Well done, Mathew. And I'm glad you included people in the picture; they add complications for stitching but liven up the place. Panoramas sometimes look sterile without inhabitants. What makes you choose PTGui instead of Autostitch or something else. I ask because I'm interested in pans and Photoshop is too cumbersone. Good job. Kent

Thanks Kent. I tried Autostitch but had a couple of bad experiences with it - it messed up the stitching and lost some originals.
